Dr Ahmed Munib

Dr. Ahmed Munib is a distinguished psychiatrist with an extensive career spanning over two decades in both Australian and international settings. In 2008, he earned the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. His academic prowess was further demonstrated when he was conferred a PhD in Psychiatry from the University of Melbourne in 2006, an achievement underscored by the international research scholarship he received from the same esteemed university.

Since 2010, Dr. Munib has served as an adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in Psychiatry at The University of Western Australia, contributing significantly to the field through teaching and advanced post-graduate training. Beyond academia, he dedicates his expertise to his private practice and has been a stalwart Consultant Psychiatrist at Armadale Health Service for over a dozen years. Since 2022, he has been practising as an inpatient psychiatrist at the mental health unit at Sir Charles Gardner Hospital.

Dr. Munib’s clinical acumen is particularly noted in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions. His areas of expertise encompass Mood Disorders, including depression and both types of Bipolar disorders, as well as dysthymia.
